The Tilley Women's Wide Brim Raffia hat is made from 100% premium Madagascar Raffia that softens with age, the Women's Wide Brim Raffia Hat protects from the sun with a 4" all around brim. Trimmed with a chic black and white grosgrain ribbon with a matching black grosgrain wind cord for an extra touch elegance and a ton of practicality.

The Wide Brim Raffia Hat can be packed relatively flat in a suitcase and popped back into shape upon arrival.

The Tilley Wide Brim Raffia Hat can be spot-cleaned but not washed. At the front of the Hat there is a removable Hydrofil forehead sweatband that wicks moisture away from the forehead keeping you cool and your Hat unsoiled. The sweatband can be hand washed in warm water and soap and air-dried.

Tilley recommends against picking of the "picks"! "Picks" in the Raffia braid may appear over time as the Hat is worn. These "picks" are natural and should not be trimmed. Trimming the braid or trimming threads too close to the braid can cause the braid or stitching to unravel. Although it is the finest raffia available, and it is a strong, durable material, the Raffia Hat does not carry a lifetime guarantee. Not intended to be worn in heavy or persistent rain, the R4 is treated with a water resistant finish, intended to give enough protection to get you out of the rain.
